Shipping & Returns
Most orders are shipped via: USPS, Fedex, UPS. Orders are usually filled
and shipped within 24 hours! Weekdays - Weekends do not count! Late
Friday orders are shipped on Monday excluding Holidays.
From time to time there may be a delay (usually 3-5 business days) in shipment due to availability of product and or its accessories. If an item is back ordered, you will be informed of an approximate ship date.
All Customers orders are shipped Insured and are given a FedEx, UPS & or a USPS tracking # for location, and if available the shipping length (time). However, at times USPS ship method may be used.
FedEx is our primary shipping provider for overnight shipments. On occasion we may use UPS for overnight shipments.
Overnight shipping is for next business day only. Saturday delivery option is ONLY obtained through contacting our customer service department at 877-746-4682.
We DO NOT ship USPS Express Mail as an overnight shipment option. If you insist on using USPS Express Mail for overnight shipments due to your preference we can do so.
However, we DO NOT guarantee overnight delivery on USPS Express Mail.
PLEASE NOTE: FedEx, UPS will not ship to PO Boxes or to Military addresses - Products on this site are available for delivery to addresses to the 48 Contiguous United States and Canada only. Any order weighing more than 75 pounds will be charged freight. Orders over 75 pounds may ship truck freight, please call for details. All prices are in U.S. dollars.
FREE SHIPPING IS FOR CONTIGUOUS US CUSTOMERS ONLY. If your shipping address is outside the contiguous US, please choose your shipping carrier.
Mechanics Tools and Bits reserves the right to cancel any order for any reason. The customer will be notified of any canceled order via email.
Mechanics Tools and Bits is NOT RESPONSIBLE for package delays due to severe weather, natural disasters, etc. Our responsibility stops when the package is delivered to the shipping carrier (USPS, FedEx and/or UPS). Upon receipt of your package it is responsibility of the carrier to deliver your package in a timely manner. For FedEx Service Alerts please click here.
DO NOT accept any package that appears to have been tampered or opened
or damaged. Keep your packing slip and container it was shipped in for
possible inspection. If this does occur, please notify us immediately at
Shipping methods are subject to change without notice!
International buyers are responsible for import duties, taxes, and
charges. These charges are determined by your countries customs office
and are your responsibility. We have put into place a shipping method
for international shipping that is fair and cost effective for both
parties. We accurately fill out customs forms. We do not mark items as
(gifts) or use inaccurate values. USPS international shipping can take
up to 6 weeks to arrive. Customs procedures can cause delays in shipping
time and we are not responsible for those delays.
If you are not completely satisfied with the product purchased:
Products must be returned within thirty (30) days of date received for the full
credit of item(s) purchased (shipping fees are non-refundable). Item(s) must be in brand new condition upon return.
You must obtain an RMA Number (Return Authorization) before sending products back for credit. This Number must accompany the product for proper credits to be applied without delay. All products must be "unused" and sent back in its original package, and must be insured with signature confirmation for the shipment at customer's expense. A restocking fee of 20% may be deducted.

Mechanics Tools and Bits Warranty honors the Manufacturer warranties & will abide by the said manufacturer requirements to have products serviced for warranty. There are products distributed from Mechanics Tools and Bits that need to be sent for service directly to the manufacturer of said products in order to avoid terminating said warranty. You are responsible for all shipping fees to and from in the warranty process.
All electronic items, whether the item is DOA (Dead On Arrival) or breaks a short time after usage, must have warranty done directly through manufacturer
