Time Sert inserts self locking. On installation the bottom internal threads of the insert are cold rolled to expand the mating external threads into the base material locking the insert in place.

This insert is designed to work with the Special GM kit M12 x 1.75 p/n EN-42385-50 head bolt. If you have the universal head bolt kit part number 4900 the 35mm insert would be too long  you must use the shorter 30mm reach p/n 12179.
